Training

All JF Security Guards undergo an intensive and comprehensive training program prior to commencement of duty with a strong focus on both technical skills and customer care. All staff are also required to complete a 30-hour Private Guard Course prior to applying for a Security Licence, which is renewable yearly. These courses are offered through JF Security subsidiary Aurelia Academy, which is authorised by the Minister of Justice and Home Affairs to deliver such courses, amongst others. Furthermore, a minimum of 2-day On the Job Training is provided before being assigned to operational work for JF Security.

Security Officers also attend a number of other courses; depending on the site s/he is posted. This includes training on all aspects relating to that site, including vulnerable areas and special requirements. Other courses may include Customer Care, First Aid, Health & Safety, Port Security (ISPS), Prevention, enforcement, rules of evidence and fire fighting.

After successfully completing the necessary levels of training, all our monitoring staff operate in accordance with established protocols and procedures to ensure that the service is provided to a consistently high standard in an efficient and professional manner.
